BI Developer Analyst
Description
We are a well-funded growing operator in the iGaming/Social Gaming/Casino subcategory landscape,
building data-driven businesses in fast-moving and highly competitive markets.
Our iGaming operation runs on a third-party platform, making this role particularly important in bridging the
gap between the data provided by our platform, tech partners, and the internal tech function and the trusted,
business-ready data used internally.
About the role
We are looking for a hands-on BI Developer/Analyst to take ownership of our analytical data layer and BI
capabilities.
You will work cross-org — building the models, pipelines, semantic layer, dashboards, and analytical
capabilities that enable the organization to make better decisions.
This is not a dashboard-only BI role. We are looking for someone comfortable moving end-to-end from
raw data to insight and delivering to stakeholders.
Requirements
- 3–5+ years of experience in BI Development, Analytics Engineering, Data Engineering, or other BI-Analytics functions, or a similar data-focused role.
- Strong hands-on SQL skills, including complex transformations, data modeling, analytical queries, and optimization.
- Production experience with dbt, modern ELT/data transformation practices and capabilities, and BI tools and dashboard development
- Strong understanding of data warehousing, dimensional modeling, semantic layers, and BI architecture.
- Experience building analytical data pipelines and working with multiple data sources.
- Experience working with APIs, SDKs, third-party platforms, data integrations, and Git-based development.
- Experience with GCP and BigQuery is highly preferred; Python and data orchestration tools are a strong advantage.
- Familiarity with key BI and business metrics, such as funnels, cohorts, retention, LTV, ARPU, churn, ROAS, revenue, and player activity
- Experience with marketing analytics, attribution, gaming, iGaming, Social Gaming/Casino, or other high-volume transactional businesses is a strong advantage.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with excellent English and the ability to work effectively as a team player across technical and non-technical stakeholders.
The Person We're Looking Fo
We are looking for someone who combines strong technical capabilities with genuine business
understanding.
- Hands-on & execution-oriented — you enjoy building and take ownership from requirements through delivery.
- Strong business acumen & collaborative - with the ability to understand business needs and translate them into meaningful data and BI solutions, across the different business functions
- Analytical & curious — you look beyond the immediate question and proactively identify insights and opportunities.
- Strong problem solver — you are comfortable investigating ambiguity, debugging data issues, and finding practical solutions.
- Independent & adaptable — you thrive in a fast-moving environment where priorities and processes evolve.
- AI-enabled — you effectively use modern AI tools, including Cursor and other AI-powered development and analytics tools, to accelerate delivery and improve quality.
What You'll Own
Data & Analytics Engineering
- Build and maintain analytical data models, transformations, and ETL/ELT pipelines using SQL and dbt.
- Develop and maintain the semantic layer, including consistent business entities, metrics, and KPIs.
- Ensure data quality through testing, validation, monitoring, and documentation.
BI & Analytics
- Build and maintain dashboards and reporting solutions that support business decision-making.
- Translate business requirements into scalable analytical solutions and actionable insights.
- Work with stakeholders to identify trends, performance drivers, anomalies, and opportunities.
Integrations
- Integrate data from APIs, SDKs, databases, marketing tools, and external platforms.
- Work with internal teams and external partners to troubleshoot data issues and improve data availability and reliability.
Why Join?
Join an energetic, experienced, professional, motivated, and fun team!
This is an opportunity to join a data-driven, well-funded company at an early stage and have significant
ownership over how data and BI are built from the ground up.
You will have the opportunity to shape the company's data architecture, analytical models, KPIs, BI
ecosystem, and analytical culture — rather than simply maintaining an existing reporting environment.
If you enjoy working at the intersection of data, analytics, BI, and business, this role offers broad
ownership, meaningful impact, and the opportunity to build things from the ground up.
